Nikolai Budnetskii is Head of Banking & Finance at ADG Legal. He advises banks, funds, investment platforms, corporates and investors on cross-border financings, restructurings, regulatory matters and complex banking transactions. His recent work includes a USD 3.7 billion restructuring for a multinational metals and mining group, digital asset issuances, stand-by letter of credit facilities, security structuring, escrow arrangements, trusts and foundations, and derivatives.

Practising in-house and at international law firms since 2007, Nikolai brings deep transactional and corporate experience to his finance practice, including Legal Tech projects and M&A in the telecoms, automotive and infrastructure sectors, together with extensive work with German-speaking clients. This background strengthens his ability to structure and execute sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional finance mandates.
