Jonathan Rodger is a Legal Counsel in ADG Legal’s Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in international disputes. A barrister of over two decades’ standing, Jonathan brings a rare combination of courtroom depth, judicial experience, and alternative dispute resolution expertise to his work with clients across complex commercial and property matters.

Jonathan has extensive experience as a leading practitioner in the Business and Property Courts of England and Wales, where he was consistently top-ranked by the leading legal directories. His practice spans commercial dispute resolution across property, trusts, insolvency, contract, construction, and landlord and tenant matters, and his advice and representation have been highly sought after by clients throughout England and Wales and beyond.

In 2020, Jonathan was appointed a part-time Deputy District Judge in the Business and Property Courts — a distinction that reflects the professional regard in which he is held by the judiciary and the broader legal community. He is also an accredited mediator and a member of the Chancery Bar Association.

Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) with first class honours from the University of Cambridge. He brings particularly strong expertise in drafting contracts and legal instruments, offering clients strategically informed and technically rigorous counsel across international dispute mandates.
