Chris is a Solicitor of England and Wales practising within ADG Legal’s International Dispute Resolution and Construction teams in Dubai. Based in Dubai since 2023, he acts for high-net-worth individuals and high-profile families, as well as clients involved in construction disputes across the Gulf.

His dispute resolution practice includes shareholder and trust disputes, authorised push payment fraud, claims for monies owed, major fraud investigations and high-value litigation involving claims in the millions and billions of dollars. His work regularly involves private clients and families whose interests span more than one jurisdiction.

In the firm’s construction practice, Chris has acted on subcontractor disputes arising from landmark infrastructure projects in the UAE, disputes relating to tourism projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and consultant disputes concerning large residential villa developments. He also delivers seminars on construction topics to industry peers.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Sunderland, where he received the Eden and Ravenscroft Prize as the highest-performing undergraduate in law. He later completed a combined postgraduate degree in Legal Practice and a Master of Laws with Distinction at the same university. In 2024, he was recognised in the Legal 500 Country Comparative Guide for his analysis of white-collar crime enforcement in the United Arab Emirates. A native English speaker, he works across international dispute resolution, construction disputes, fraud investigations and other complex cross-border matters.
