CONSTRUCTION LAW
Our team of construction law and infrastructure law experts has considerable experience across all industry sectors. This includes medium to large-sized residential developments, large-scale commercial projects, and public infrastructure. It also covers highly complex facilities in the energy and resources sectors. Our construction and infrastructure projects cross multiple jurisdictions, including the UAE and the DIFC. Additionally, we have significant experience in East and North Africa and Europe (including the UK).

We provide sector-specific advice on all aspects of construction law and construction finance. This includes structured finance and derivatives, securitization, leveraged finance (including public and private acquisition finance), asset finance, project and PFI finance, restructuring, and insolvency.
Our construction team focuses on the early identification of critical risks and opportunities facing specific projects. They then assist with developing an appropriate risk management strategy.
We negotiate and draft bespoke contracts and advise on all the major standard form contracts. We do this in the residential, commercial, infrastructure, and resources sectors.
Working closely with our dispute resolution team, we promote the avoidance of late delivery, defects, and cost overruns. In doing this, we also avoid damage to reputations, client relationships, and profitability. Committed to ensuring clients are not unnecessarily involved in costly litigation, we explore cost-effective alternatives to full litigation. We regularly act in arbitration, mediation, dispute review boards, and expert determination. Where litigation or arbitration cannot be avoided, we draw upon the depth of our experience in acting in disputes of all sizes. This includes the highest-value construction disputes over several continents, all of which have involved complex claims.
