Bradley Marais

Bradley Marais is Counsel in ADG Legal’s Dispute Resolution practice, based in Dubai. He advises on international and cross border disputes, with particular experience in commercial litigation and arbitration.
A barrister with more than 13 years of post-qualification experience, Bradley has appeared as lead and junior counsel in Courts in South Africa. He has rights of appearance in all the courts of South Africa, including the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court. His practice has covered a broad range of contentious matters, including contractual disputes, insolvency and restricting matters, fraud claims, torts, and administrative and regulatory proceedings.
He has acted for clients across the energy, telecommunications, banking, mining, and technology sectors, and has been instructed by leading law firms and multinational businesses on complex and high value disputes.
Bradley is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, and has experience in domestic and international arbitration, including ICC proceedings. He has acted as party representative in arbitration matters and has also been appointed as arbitrator.
His practice is focused on resolving disputes efficiently and effectively, combining strong advocacy skills with commercially grounded advice. He works closely with clients on case strategy, risk assessment and the management of multi-jurisdictional disputes.
